"It was a pleasant stay, however possibly due to our stay next to the church or possibly the period we were there, it was a bit overwhelming the amount of bells ringing every 15 minutes. A suggestwould be that for every quarter hour, ring once, and not the entire hour. For example, if its 12:45 pm it will ring 15 times

"It could be a nice place but unfortunately, there are too many things which made us stressed or disappointed during our stay. We had difficulties to park our car because there are very few (free) places. Most of the streets and houses look old and poor. People don't seem to care about the appearance of their houses or maybe they really can't afford any small works. But the biggest problem is litter, everywhere in the street. And yet, the recycling rules are very strict. Hopefully, our guest was very nice and helped us deal with all this and made everything she could to make our stay comfortable."

"Rocks for swimming near Cannizzaro were beautifu but had a lot of litter, some locals were clearing up and we picked up what we saw near us but it is a big problem of attitude it seems. Public transport was generally reliable and good information on Google maps, but when buses diverted the information was not updated and so one day we walked back from Catania! Anyway you have a great area and maybe we'll come back one day!"

"Aci Castello is wonderful place, but more should be done towards making its public transport usable. Bus stops need some protection from the sun and some indication of when the next bus will come. Via Angelo Musco needs wider sidewalks and more trees to provide shade.
